Jamaica V. Briones

Jamaica brings strong clinical and technical expertise to her research work in economic evaluation for health. A pharmacist by training, she further honed her analytical, methodological and strategic skills by finishing a Master of Science in Health Technology Assessment at the Mahidol University after finishing a degree in Industrial Pharmacy. She has more than six years of experience in project management, public health policy, evidence review, and health economic modelling.

Denese C. De Guzman

Denese is a physician and health economist who brings her years of experience in program management and training in health care economic evaluation to her research work. She has served in multiple capacities with the Department of Health, including pharmaceutical and medical device pricing. She specializes in health policy development, public management, and community engagement and collaboration. Denese has a Master of Science degree in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science focusing on Healthcare Financing, Pharmaceutical Economics and Economic Evaluation in Healthcare.  She also has a Master’s degree in Public Management from the Development Academy of the Philippines.

Dante Jr. B. Salvador

Dante is a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and health financing specialist. He has extensive technical training and experience in local health systems management, health economic evaluations, and clinical epidemiological research. Dante has strong leadership and research management skills, having led health policy and financing projects commissioned by the Department of Health, PhilHealth, and Department of Science and Technology. Prior to this, he completed three masters degrees in Public Management, Public Health, and Health Economics and Governance. Dante is currently a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Bern, Switzerland.

Precious Juzenda S. Montilla

Precious is a physician, health economist, and entrepreneur. Highly analytical, well-motivated, and goal-oriented, she has a master’s degree in health economics, policy and law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and served briefly as entrepreneur-in-residence at Utrecht. Precious has more than 5 years of experience in private and public consulting in health policy, health economics, and healthcare innovations. Currently, she is also the chief operating officer of Julzenz Farm where she utilizes data-driven insights from animal health economics to guide the strategic decision-making of the company.
